Vibrant Health Family Clinics Plans Medical Clinic Updates

Vibrant Health Family Clinics (formerly known as River Falls Medical Clinic) will begin renovation of its current medical clinic space (leased from Allina Health) on August 29, 2016. Patients will notice the changes the moment they enter the space, beginning with fresh paint, new carpet and the widened hallway to allow easier access and check-in for those patients in a wheelchair. The new reception process will also allow for increased privacy and quicker access at the reception desk. “From patient flow, to access and privacy, how the patient interacts with Vibrant Health was at the heart of the planning process,” said Julie Ducklow, Operations Manager. “The updates will not only make us more efficient, but they will also help us better serve our customers. The main reception will be the center of the patient experience and will be the entrance and exit point for all patients. There will also be lab check-in located at the main reception to eliminate a second check in location. This will make it more convenient for patients to schedule their next doctor or lab appointment; and provide easy access to Health Information and Records Release. “The primary theme and reason for the updates is patient-centered care” said Pediatrician Amber Morgan, MD. “We want to make the patient visit as easy and supportive as possible. Some visits require a trip to the Health Information Desk at the far back corner of the Clinic. The renovation will change that. Instead of our patients coming to us; our staff is coming to them. Patients can request their health records at the main reception desk. Streamlining the visit...
