March 1, 2021 8 AM Update

Vibrant Health will continue to vaccinate patients 75 and older, along with healthcare workers during the week of March 1st. We have currently called all patients 75 and over at least once. If you are a Vibrant Health patient (or know someone) who is 75+ and have not yet received a COVID-19 vaccine, please call us at 715-425-6701 to be scheduled. We will continue to reach out to our patients as well.

While new groups will become eligible in Wisconsin on March 1, clinics have been asked by the Wisconsin Department of Health to continue to focus vaccine efforts on our patients over 75 and healthcare workers. We are hoping that we will be able to offer vaccine appointments to those 65 and over as vaccine becomes more available in the next couple of weeks. We appreciate your patience.

If you know somebody who doesn’t have access to the internet, please encourage them to call 715-426-3700 for updates.

Due to severe weather in the southern US last week, we have been notified that delivery of the vaccine supply for this week will be delayed.  We do not yet know when vaccine will arrive.

We will decide on Tuesday February 23rd whether we need to reschedule appointments. We will reach out to all patients who are scheduled for vaccine clinic this week to either confirm your vaccine appointment date and time OR to reschedule you to a later date within the next week.

We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to continuing our vaccine clinics as soon as our supply arrives.

February 16, 2021 – 8 AM Update

Vibrant Health (part of M Health Fairview) has received 100 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Our vaccination clinic will be open Wednesday, Feb. 17 and Thursday, Feb. 18 for patients over 75 who were randomly selected through an automated computer process for this week’s clinic.

If your name was randomly selected, then you will be contacted for scheduling.

We recognize the rollout of the vaccine has been slower than we prefer, but Vibrant Health will continue to request the vaccine and speed up the process as the vaccine becomes more available. Until then, we will be using the computer randomization process to select patients.

If you know somebody over the age of 75 who doesn’t have access to the internet, please encourage them to call 715-426-3700 for updates.

February 8, 2021 – 3 PM Update

Vibrant Health will not be receiving any COVID-19 vaccine for the week of February 8th. The state of Wisconsin has noted that the vaccine is in short supply. We have submitted a request to receive vaccine for the weeks of February 15 and February 22. We will be notified on Sunday February 14th whether we will be allocated vaccine next week.

While most vaccination sites in our area are receiving very little supply due to the shortage, we continue to encourage patients to work with their pharmacists, specialists, or the county health department when able.

If we receive vaccine next week, we will plan on resuming reaching out to our patients 75 years and older to offer them vaccine appointments. We will provide updates on this website and on our hotline at 715-426-3700.

If you know somebody over the age of 75 who doesn’t have access to the internet, please encourage them to call 715-426-3700 for updates.

January 28, 2021 – 8 AM Update

The River Falls Area Hospital (Allina Health) and Vibrant Health Clinic will be collaborating to administer the COVID 19 vaccine to 300 of our combined patients ages 75 and over. The vaccination clinic will be open between Thursday through Sunday of this week (Jan 28 – Jan 31) for patients over 75 who were randomly selected through an automated computer process for this week’s clinic.

If your name was randomly selected,  then you would have been contacted for scheduling.

Because of the shortage of vaccines, The River Falls Area Hospital and Vibrant Health will be using the computer randomization process to select patients until Feb 7 when we learn if additional vaccine is available. Allina River Falls Hospital or Vibrant Clinic will be contacting selected patients for scheduling.

If you know somebody over the age of 75 who doesn’t have access to the internet, please encourage them to call 715-426-3700 for updates.

January 25, 2021 – Noon Update

We are still not approved as a vaccination site but have several staff working hard to make sure everything is ready to go.

We have been approached by the River Falls Area Hospital who offered to include our patients in their upcoming vaccine clinics this week.

They have requested 400 doses and expect to receive 300 doses per the information they received yesterday from the state of Wisconsin.

We have provided them with a list of all our patients over 75.
Their process is this: The River Falls Area Hospital will randomly contact patients over 75 from our list and from their own patient population. Their goal is to split the doses of the vaccine they receive equally among Vibrant Health and Allina Health patients.

They are planning to vaccinate our patients Thursday and Friday morning, totaling 150 Vibrant Health patients.

There is no ability to specifically refer patients to be included in this clinic. The randomization is part of Allina’s process and we are grateful for their generous offer to include Vibrant Health patients.

We will have staff assisting with checking in and monitoring patients during the vaccine clinics.

Other local options for vaccines:

Every Monday starting at 8:30 am sharp, Pierce County residents over 65 can log on to the link on their website or call 715-307-9567 to schedule an appointment for the weekly drive-in vaccination clinics located at the Pierce County Fairgrounds.

Each week once the vaccine spots fill, they will not take further appointments and residents will need to log in or call again the next Monday.

The county is hoping to do 400 vaccines each week if they get their requested amount. Ideally their clinics will eventually be for those who don’t have access through their primary clinic or pharmacy, but given the limited options at this time, the county is not putting any restrictions on these clinics.

If you’re a resident of St. Croix or Polk County, you can find vaccination information here: County Vaccination Information

Several local pharmacies will be participating in vaccinations as well. So far, we are aware of Freeman Drug and the Village Pharmacies who are doing vaccine clinics. Currently, they are reaching out directly to their patients.

Please do not contact pharmacies directly, but we do encourage patients to get it if they are offered the vaccine at their pharmacy.

January 21, 2021 – 9AM Update

Vibrant Health Clinic does not yet have COVID-19 vaccine. We are diligently working on a process to schedule vaccinations for eligible individuals; however, are not able to schedule until we know the date of our first delivery.

Vibrant is working in partnership with Pierce and St. Croix County Public Health Departments, plus the hospitals and clinics in the two counties. There is no specific action to take right now.

Timing will depend on the supply allocated to us by the state of Wisconsin. We will update this website, our social media, and the designated COVID-19 vaccine hotline at 715-426-3700 with the most current vaccine and scheduling status.

If you know people in the community who don’t have access to the internet, please provide them with the hotline number. Thank you.

January 19, 2021 – 4PM Update
COVID-19 Vaccination Expanding in the Coming Weeks

On Tuesday, January 19th, the Wisconsin Department of Health announced that those in Wisconsin who qualify for the COVID-19 vaccine will expand to include those 65 and older as of January 25th.

Vibrant Health is looking forward to participating in getting the vaccine to our patients to help bring an end to the pandemic.

Unfortunately, the demand for the vaccine currently is significantly higher than the quantity of vaccine available. Vibrant Health has not yet received confirmation from the state when we will receive our first doses of vaccine.

The COVID-19 vaccine is likely to be in high demand for some time and may be available to patients through a variety of health care providers, which could include pharmacies, hospitals, public health, employee health, or specialist clinics. If a patient has access to the vaccine through any of those health care providers, we would encourage them to get the vaccine at the first place it is offered.

Vaccine scheduling details will be updated here on our website as soon as they are available. We are also working with our local public health departments, regional hospitals and clinics to have vaccine availability and scheduling information shared more broadly through local media.
