Do you understand about basic principles of healthy mental aging? Are you doing something every
day to use and expand your mind to maintain your mental sharpness? This session will focus on brain
training, cognitive exercises, and mental health awareness.

Studies show that those who engage in regular exercise and mindfulness reap huge health benefits,
including the ability to remain strong and fit for years to come. This session will focus on ways to

Outsmart the Scammers

Incidents of fraud are on the rise and scammers’ tactics are becoming more complex. This presentation
will help give you the information you need to Outsmart the Scammers. During the program, we’ll
discuss how to spot certain red flags that may indicate a fraudulent encounter, resources individuals
can turn to in the event they or a loved one are targeted, and steps attendees can take now to help
protect themselves and loved ones. Presented by Brian McQuade, Edward Jones and the River Falls

Brian McQuade from Edward Jones will be speaking on Thursday, October 18th about avoiding Financial Fraud & Scams.Brian began his career as an Edward Jones financial advisor in 2012 to help individual investors achieve what is most important to them. Whether it’s putting children through college, making sure enough is saved for retirement, estate planning, or other financial matters, he can help prioritize your needs and define your goals. He works closely with you and your CPA, attorney and other professionals to determine the most appropriate financial strategy.
Brian is active in the St Croix Valley area, serving as an Ambassador for the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors for the River Falls Sunshine Fund and the River Falls Rotary Club where he served as Club President in 2016.
Beth Senoraske will be presenting on Thursday, October 11 for Body Training. Beth has been practicing physical therapy since 1999, when she graduated with her Masters in Physical Therapy degree from The College of St. Catherine. She did her undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin- River Falls. Beth started practicing in the Saint Paul Public School System working with children with disabilities, then joined River Valley Sports and Physical Therapy in 2003. She has been working at this local clinic since. Beth enjoys working with all age groups and recently took some educational classes focusing on exercise and the aging adult. She is a strong advocate for exercise and how it can change a person’s life, whether through decreasing pain, improving mobility, improving function, and/or improving physical and mental health. Beth teaches a strength trainingclass in her free time, and also enjoys running, hiking and spending time with her family and friends. She lives in River Falls with her husband Brian, daughter Jordyand
Heather will be presenting on October 4th for Body Training. She took her first yoga class in 2005 and instantly fell in love with the practice, both on the mat and as a way of life. She received her 200 hour RYT certification from the Yoga Center of Minneapolis in 2012 and has been teaching ever since. She has additional training in Thai Bodywork, Kids’ Yoga, and Partner Yoga and is always working to expand her practice and knowledge base.
Heather has a passion for yoga, fitness, and general mind/body wellness and feels honored to be able to share each of these things with her students. She strives to make yoga accessible to everyone while keeping students challenged in their personal practices. She works at In Balance in River Falls.
