Vibrant Health Family Clinics will officially become M Health Fairview Clinic – River Falls when the practice consolidates its Ellsworth and Spring Valley clinics and moves to the new clinic location in the spring of 2021. Renovation on the space at 319 Main Street in River Falls (adjacent to Family Fresh Grocery) began early August and is scheduled for completion in the spring.

“The new medical office building will provide better access to advanced specialty care and opportunities to develop new clinical programs to serve our communities,” said Dr. Kerith Lijewski, Medical Director for Vibrant Health Family Clinics. “Being centrally located in the heart of Main Street River Falls allows UW-River Falls students to get care from their student health clinic by removing the need for transportation.”

Initially, 19,000 of the available 23,000 square-foot facility will be built to mirror the services currently offered at the Vibrant Health Family Clinic including family medicine, pediatrics, diabetes education, chronic care management, nephrology, geriatric care, medication therapy management, student health, sleep medicine, functional medicine, behavioral health services and hearing health.

The new clinic space will bring M Health Fairview specialists in cardiology and ENT who have practiced in the River Falls community into the same clinic space as the primary care providers, allowing for better coordination of care between specialists and primary care. General surgery will see patients in the clinic and additional specialty services are being considered. The new medical clinic will include in-house laboratory services, x-ray, ultrasound, and echocardiograms. The additional 4,000 square feet of unused space allows for expansion of additional services as the need is identified within the communities we serve.

Fairview Health Services is making changes across our system that will help us deliver simpler, more affordable, accessible, and equitable care, while responding to the evolving health needs of our communities.

“This is an exciting step forward for our system as we extend the reach and accessibility of our high-quality care to the people of Western Wisconsin,” said Eric Nelson, President, Primary Care Service Line for M Health Fairview. “We believe healthcare needs to heal more and hurt less. That’s why we are building a healthcare system that combines the best of academic and community medicine, and expands access to breakthrough care across the state and into western Wisconsin.”

M Health Fairview Clinic – River Falls is creating an easier, simpler healthcare experience by continuing to be open 7 days a week while investing in options for increased online urgent care and video visit care. Urgent Care will continue to be offered for non-emergent, minor injuries and illnesses between the hours of 8 a.m. – noon Saturday and Sunday.
