Effective August 1, 2019, Vibrant Health Family Clinics will join the growing family of Fairview Health Services.

What does this change mean for Vibrant Health patients?

We will continue to see patients at our three sites in River Falls, Ellsworth, and Spring Valley. We will maintain the same hours at all three sites and see patients 7 days a week with same day walk-in available in the River Falls location. Patients will continue to call the same number to schedule an appointment and will have access to the Business Office, Referral Office, medication refills and your medical record. There will be no immediate changes to the building or its branding.

Can I still see my doctor?

All of the physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants currently working for Vibrant Health will continue to see patients at the same locations after August 1. The transition will not impact your ability to see the Healthcare Provider of your choice. This partnership will connect patients to specialty care through Fairview and University of Minnesota Health.

How will this impact my insurance coverage?

Vibrant Health will join all Fairview Health Services insurance networks and contracts, effective August 1, 2019. If you have questions about how this transition may impact insurance coverage, we encourage you to contact your insurer directly.

Why did Vibrant Health enter into an agreement with Fairview?

As patients continue to seek affordable, accessible healthcare, Vibrant Health chose to join a system that shares the same core values and commitment to exceptional care that puts the patient first in everything they do. Vibrant Health has been looking for a long-term partner to work with us to grow our practice and invest in our communities’ health.

Why Fairview?

Fairview and Vibrant share core values and a commitment to the triple aim of improving quality and patient experience, while lowering the total cost of care. Combining with Fairview will enable us to deliver even better care with a broader range of services for our patients. Fairview is one of the most comprehensive and geographically accessible health systems in Minnesota, and now, Western Wisconsin. This development expands Fairview’s existing presence in our region: Our River Falls, Ellsworth and Spring Valley clinics already benefit from HealthEast cardiology services and Fairview durable medical equipment. (HealthEast joined Fairview in 2017.)

Our cardiologists see patients at the River Center professional building located at 215 N 2nd St, River Falls, WI 54022. To make an appointment, please call 715-426-3748.

How does this change or impact the relationship with our local hospital and Allina? Can I still go to the River Falls Hospital?

Vibrant Health values the long-standing relationship we have with the staff at the River Falls Area Hospital and will continue to provide exceptional care to the patients on our campus. You have the freedom to choose any clinic or hospital you choose, but should always check with your insurance provider to determine if care at the site of choice is covered by your insurance plan.

Does the agreement with Fairview mean a new clinic?

As patients continue to seek affordable, accessible health care, Fairview and Vibrant Health will evaluate space needs. We will keep you well informed about future changes.

How will I know if I can see my specialist?
